A Change of Pace

Today Hallie, Morgan, and I decided that after classes and a long week we were well overdue for a girl’s day out and decided to go apple picking, the perfect fall themed activity.  After a stressful ride to Hendersonville amongst the many stupid drivers of the world today we made it to Justus Farm.  The place was perfect.  It turns out we hit the end of the picking season and struggled to find some apples leaving us to end up buying the ones that we’ve actually had to eat but it was a perfect day and the scenery couldn’t have been more gorgeous.  The people were friendly as ever there as well.  They gave us free apple donuts, helped us find the apple flavors that were best for our taste, and we were able to buy apple cider slushies for only a dollar.  The time away from campus with such close friends was a great change of pace and a memory that I plan to cherish always.
